"Tried to join the Elks Lodge Whittier this year and encountered a rude member by the name of Sonia. I was referred by friends who are members. I was stunned by how I was treated so I decided not to join because of the unprofessionalism of Sonia who hung up the phone on me. Really is bad when the Whittier Elks Lodge has a member volunteer who treats perspective members so rudely and thinks it’s ok. This location needs training on professionalism. I would never be a part of any organization that is not on the same page of its policies."
