"Tried to join the Elks Lodge Whittier this year and encountered a rude member by the name of Sonia. I was referred by friends who are members. I was stunned by how I was treated so I decided not to join because of the unprofessionalism of Sonia who hung up the phone on me. Really is bad when the Whittier Elks Lodge has a member volunteer who treats perspective members so rudely and thinks it’s ok. This location needs training on professionalism. I would never be a part of any organization that is not on the same page of its policies."

"Great Christmas Party night. The Band, Groove Pocket entertained with music of all genres. These guys are friends with great talent. Space to dance, to wander from table to table to visit. A good set up for the buffet meal from Tamales to Cheesecake. Thanks for sharing this band again, my girls."
